Coming to say sorry to God
Lord God, our maker and our redeemer,
this is your world and we are your people:
come among us and save us.
We have wilfully misused your gifts of creation;
Lord, be merciful:

We have seen the ill-treatment of others
and have not gone to their aid;

We have condoned evil and dishonesty
and failed to strive for justice;

Jesus Walks on the Water
22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29 “Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

The Creed
Let us declare our faith in God.
Do you believe and trust in God the Father,
source of all being and life, the one for whom we exist?
We believe and trust in him.
Do you believe and trust in God the Son,
who took our human nature,
died for us and rose again?
We believe and trust in him.
Do you believe and trust in God the Holy Spirit,
who gives life to the people of God and makes Christ known in the world?
We believe and trust in him.
This is the faith of the Church.
This is our faith.
We believe and trust in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Heavenly Father , we worship you God of all creation.
We come to you Ooh God with confidence because the way has been opened for us by the blood of your son who sits at your right hand ,who is in authority over all things, Jesus Christ.
Hear and answer our prayer heavenly father:
Praying for all people in this world , As we are all facing challenges , trials like this pandemic , coving 19 .Dear God strength our faith and help us to keep our eyes fixed upon you.
For those who are sick , Lord you are their healer. Heal them Lord!
For those who lost loved ones, Lord my God you are their comforter, Comfort them Lord, by your spirit.
For those who are stressed and depressed, Lord in our weakness you are the strength, strengthen them Lord and give them peace!
I also pray for those who haven't known you yet , and those who have backsliden:
We pray that the saving message of love , hope ,forgiveness and salvation in Christ Jesus may continue to go forward to all parts of the globe in the power of your Spirit.
I also pray for those who have turned away from the truth , may your mercy and grace be increased upon them, give them another chance to come back to you , ooh Lord Jesus our salvation.
Praying for Beirut Explosion :
We pray for all those affected by these horrific explosions, Heavenly Father we unite our hearts with them , God have mercy in that nation of Lebanon, bring healing , comfort and peace to them.
Praying for the church and all members at St Catherine's :
Righteous Father , fill us with your power of your spirit, your love , fill us with your joy, your wisdom . May the Holy spirit constantly remind us that your presence is always with us , we are never alone in any circumstances. Shield us and our families under your wings of mighty, protect us from the evil one.
God the Most High , we worship you, we trust you today and forever in Jesus ' name
